NO FIX, NO FEE. If your faulty laptop is beyond economical repair we will return it promptly and there will be No Inspection Charges - just a £15.00 P&P fee. (Unless, of course, you collect it yourself or have elected for us to dispose of the unit).

• Fast reliable repairs carried out by our manufacturer trained engineers, down to Component Level. Most service centres, including the superstores, try to sell you a new motherboard or LCD that can cost over £500. We repair motherboards and LCDs.
• Valeting - We will clean the laptop inside and out, maximising the unit's life by eliminating the build up of dust and dirt that causes overheating failure.
• Communication - Our customer service staff are at your disposal should you have any enquiries about the process
• Insurance - The laptop is completely covered in the unlikely event of something unexpected going wrong.

We repair any make or model. We will call you within 5 days of receiving your faulty laptop with a diagnosis, quotation and a lead-time on any parts required.

Whenever possible we try to repair a part before replacing it. The final cost to you is much less than what a manufacturer charges for a replacement part.

Upgrades

Laptops have fewer upgradeable components than desktop computers because they are mostly built to individual designs with components that are specific to that particular machine. For this reason, the processor, graphics card and motherboard cannot be upgraded. However, there are some upgrade options - particularly storage and RAM.

Memory - RAM - Random Access Memory. RAM is by far the easiest and most productive of upgrades to do. RAM is your computer's short-term memory, which it uses to store the information that you are working on. Adding memory will allow your applications to open faster, and gives the whole operating system a boost of noticeable speed. There are several different types of memory (EDO, PC100, PC133, DDR2300, DDR3300 etc) - please call or e-mail for pricing and availability - and feel free to check with our customer service team to ensure that you get the type of memory that's exactly right for you.

Hard Drives - Internal Storage - The longer you own a machine, the more files and information you build up. It's surprising how quickly capacity can be used up. A second drive isn't an option - your laptop will only have space for one - but your present hard drive can easily be replaced with a much larger unit. This should be done by an authorised repair centre unless you are fully confident you can do it yourself. Of course, you will need to transfer your existing data across to the new drive. We can do this for you.
